Mac US Market Share Up 50% Over Last Year
ComputerWorld reports that Apple’s US Sales accounting for 14% of the market in February - which is way up from 9% from February 2007.
I’m sure there’s a lot of factors to this. The MacBook Air alone accounted for over 20% of Apple’s sales, yet those numbers don’t cut into their normal sales, it was essentially an extra 20% right over the top. Then there’s Windows Vista. Personally I love it.. but for less technical people it was a bit of a mess when it came out. A lot of people buying new computers in stores were forced to use it and grow to hate it. Which provided the perfect opportunity for Apple to increase its market share.

A Windows fan. I use Mac’s at work. Eventually I bought a Vista laptop so I wouldn’t have to as much.
