For Reals This Time?

www.dialaphone.co.uk reports that Toshiba will be releasing a new touch screen based phone. This comes amongst a plethora of other phones and knockoffs all claiming to be”iPhone killers” amongst other things.

This one does seem to be a little ahead of the pack, however. While I seriously doubt it will put any sort of dent in the iPhone’s market, it will definitely be a hit with a few demanding cell phone enthusiasts.

The Toshiba G810 sports:
2.8″ touchscreen
3G speeds up to 3.6mbps
3 megapixel autofocus camera
FM radio tuner
microSD expansion slot
GPS
Bluetooth 2.0
Windows Mobile 6.0

This looks, size-wise a bit more like the HTC Vogue aka Touch on Sprint, which is an amazingly sized phone. Decent screen, not too big or small and fits very well into the palm of your hand.

I’d love to get my hands on one of these when it comes out. We’ll see!
